Supporting Local Farmers in Nebraska and Beyond
MAAPW is deeply connected to Nebraska’s agricultural community. We source most of our corn directly from local farmers and collaborate with area co-ops and grain merchandisers. These partnerships strengthen the economy while ensuring smooth, efficient operations.
Farmers and customers trust MAAPW for our commitment to reliability and efficiency. Whether you’re delivering grain or receiving products, our ethanol plant in Nebraska offers seamless logistics that save time and maximize productivity.
Innovating Sustainability: Carbon Capture at our Nebraska Plant
In 2022, MAAPW introduced Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS) technology at our Nebraska ethanol plant. By the end of 2025, we’ll be among fewer than 10% of U.S. ethanol plants equipped with CCS. This advanced system significantly reduces carbon emissions, positioning MAAPW as a leader in sustainable biofuel production.
Advancements like the Trailblazer CO2 Pipeline, a $1.5 billion project by Tallgrass, are helping support carbon capture efforts. This partnership will convert a 392-mile natural gas pipeline into a carbon dioxide pipeline spanning Nebraska, Colorado, and Wyoming. This groundbreaking infrastructure will transport CO2 from ethanol plants in Nebraska, including MAAPW, to underground sequestration sites in Wyoming.
